Spitwater SA Has Done It Again—Invading the 21st Biennial Eyre Peninsula Field Days

For nearly 30 years, Spitwater SA has been part of one of the largest agricultural machinery and lifestyle exhibitions in South Australia—the Eyre Peninsula Field Days. This is a three-day event that promotes the latest equipment and technology in the agricultural industry, highlighting demonstrations of modern homewares, crafts and information that can help improve rural lifestyle as well as the production and distribution of agricultural goods.

The 2018 Eyre Peninsula Field Days, commenced today, August 14th, and will run through the 16th. Each day is jam-packed with fun and edifying activities, from music and arty culture parades to open discussion with exhibitors about their latest offerings to the rural farming market. The gates open at 8AM each day and entrance fees are no more than $15 for adults and $3 for children.

A Great Day for the Family

Did you miss the Adelaide Fringe in February? Or perhaps you couldn’t get enough of the Barossa Vintage Festival that took place after that. Then treat your family to a great time at the EP Field Days. View the future of agriculture in your area, experience full-scale entertainment from Old McDonald’s Farm and South Aussie with Cosi.

When it’s time for a pig out, the EP Field Days will not disappoint you. With four different food courts set in different locations offering a vast selection of mouth-watering meals, from salads and sandwiches to all sorts of barbecues, it might take a while to satiate your craving. You can have your children engage in the educational activities available each day, each of which teaches an array of critical lessons, including the importance of recycling and the appreciation of farming, which is slowly being pushed to the edge by the shifting industrial trend.

More Choices for Farmers, Consumers and Investors

Each EP Field Day has something new to offer everyone. Top manufacturers from across the country, such as Spitwater, bring with them their latest inventions and techniques with a single goal in mind—to improve the efficiency of crop production as well as to reduce the carbon footprint of every home and farm. Whether you come to buy new items or simply to learn new facts that can put things into perspective, you’ll never go home empty-handed.

Not only will farmers, consumers and investors gain quick and exclusive access to better farming machinery and livestock handling equipment, but they will also have the opportunity to compare the country’s top brands and pick what they think is best for their business through a first-hand talk with the exhibitors.
