Case Study 1: Spitwater SW21200DE Self Contained Skid

Client: A large mining company based in Queensland mining over in Botswana, Africa.

Application: Vehicle and Machinery wash down, Plant Maintenance

Requirements: The client has asked us to provide a self-contained Hot/Cold Diesel powered pressure cleaner for general cleaning around the mine site. It had to be on a platform with the ability to either be fork lifted or craned on and off a flat bed truck. Had to be able to handle the tough environments that exist within the mine site.

Solution: We engineered a 3.0 X 1.7 metre skid equipped with a Spitwater SW21200DE hot/cold diesel pressure cleaner, 1000Ltr chemical resistant water tank and heavy duty toolbox. The skid is entirely meshed with access to controls, hose, valves, toolbox etc. This minimizes the risk of machine and tank from being damaged in such a tough environment.

Machine:

  • Spitwater SW21200DE Hot/Cold Diesel Pressure Cleaner
  • 24H.P Water-Cooled Diesel Engine with 2:1 belt drive reduction to an Interpump WS202 Industrial Pump running 3000psi @ 21lpm.
  • Adjustable temperature up to 90 Degrees Celsius
  • Low Level Water Cut Off
  • 12 Volt Burner System
  • Emergency Stop with Battery Isolator
  • Inlet Water Filter

Tank:

  • 1000Ltr Chemical Resistant Water Tank with a 3/4ā€³ Inlet valve and 2ā€³ Water drainage valve.

Platform:

  • 3.0 X 1.7 X 1.6H Fully Galvanised ā€˜Cā€™ channel frame with Checkerplate flooring
  • Heavy Duty Expandable Galvanised mesh with cage door for accessibility
  • 750 X 450 X 450mm Heavy Duty Lockable Toolbox for Gun, Lance and Spare Parts Storage
  • 4 X 3 Tonne Certified Lifting Lugs
  • 2 Forklift Pockets
